The Blocked Parcel File feature allows merchants to prevent specific records or bills from being paid through the BillPay portal or Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. When a blocked file is uploaded, the listed records are immediately hidden from customer view and cannot be paid until they are unblocked.
Blocked files contain minimal information—just the UniqueBillID (and Merchant ID, if using the standard format)—and are uploaded securely via the Forte FTP server. This process gives merchants full control over which bills are visible or payable at any given time.
