Batch FTP - Downloading Files with the FTP Web Interface

Show merchants how to download processed files (e.g., settlement, daily bill payment, or response files) from the Forte Secure FTP Web Interface.

External – merchants using the Forte Secure FTP Web Interface.

Prerequisites

• FTP username and password provided during implementation.

• Access to the Forte Secure FTP Web Interface (recommended browser: Google Chrome).

1. Log in to the FTP Web Interface

   1. Open your browser and go to the Forte Secure FTP Web Interface URL (provided by your Integration Specialist).

   2. Enter your FTP Username and Password.

   3. Click Login.

2. Open the download folder

   1. In the folder list, click the dl folder.

   2. The available files will display.

3. Select the file(s)

   1. Find the file you want to download.

   2. Check the checkbox next to the file name.

4. Download the file(s)

   1. Click the Download Files button.

   2. The file(s) will automatically download to your computer (usually your Downloads folder).

   3. Open the file or move it to your desired location on your local drive.

5. If the downloaded file is encrypted or unreadable
