Connecting to ECRs
V400c terminals support electronic cash registers (ECRs).
1. Place the terminal upside down, press the unlock button and then lift the rear cover to access the slots.
2. Take your adapter and connect it in the Multi-Communication Port, you can identify this port by locating the icon with two opposing arrows.
3. Now take your Mini USB Adapter and connect the small end to the adapter USB port as shown in the image.
4. Finally, connect the other end of the USB cable to the ECRs. (Some ECRs bring their own set of cables or an integrated USB cable, refer to your ECRs guide for more information).
Caution: Some devices (ECRs and some PIN pads) require a separate power source. Before connecting it, remove the power cord from the unit. |
