2022 Pricing Increase - Partner FAQ

Q: Why is this change occurring?

A: Last year CSG Forte committed to conducting annual reviews of our pricing in relation to interchange rates, third party costs and Card Brand price adjustments. Please be advised that effective October 1, 2022 your buy rates and merchants’ pricing will increase due to fee increases by the major card brands, increasing ACH network fees, rising labor costs, and increased vendor costs.   


Q: How will this impact my merchants?
A: Pricing will be increased for the following billing codes.

  • ACHD (ACH Debit per transaction fee)
  • ACHC (ACH Credit per transaction fee)
  • CCPItem (Credit Card per transaction fee)
  • PGCC (Gateway credit card per transaction fee)
  • ATMv (Validate+ per transaction fee)
  • Convenience Fee (Non-tax government merchants only)

 

Q: Can my merchants request a rate review related to this pricing change?
A: Merchants should engage their Partner for any discussion related to rate review requests. If you manage your merchant pricing, Forte will refer the merchant back to you. 


Q: How will this impact partners?
A: Pricing will be increased for the following buy rates. 

  • ACHD (ACH Debit per transaction fee)
  • ACHC (ACH Credit per transaction fee)
  • CCPItem (Credit Card per transaction fee)
  • ATMv (Validate+ per transaction fee)


Q: Can I increase pricing for my merchant portfolio?

A: Yes. CSG Forte has provided the minimum recommended pricing for your merchant portfolio. If you would like to use this as an opportunity to further increase to your merchants’ pricing beyond what has been outlined, please contact your Relationship Manager or our Partner Support Team at [email protected] by Monday, August 22, 2022. We will notify merchants of these changes and send them confirmation of their existing pricing on September 1, 2022. 

Please note if we do not receive a response from you by the close of business on August 22, 2022, pricing changes for your merchant portfolio will reflect what is defined in this notice.
