VX520 Blank Screen Fix

1. From the main screen, Hold down on F2 and F4 at the same time. 


2.Enter the password located in the load file in Vericentre.




3.Select "Download" by pressing the number 2:


4.Enter the Group ID # 1(if not already listed) and press the green "Enter" key.


5.Enter the password again(The same password located in the load file in Vericentre).


6.Select 2 for "Multi-app". 


7.Select 1 for "Full Download".


8. Choose continue to erase the applications from GID 1, then choose continue again to erase the applications from GID 4(if prompted).


9.Scroll down to #3 for TCPIP.


10.Press the green Enter key for Download.


11.Scroll down to select "Ethernet"using the 2nd purple key from the left.


12.Press the green Enter key for Download.


13.Make sure that the URL/Address is: TERMINALS.FORTE.NET. If not, edit it using the purple key on the right.


14.Make sure that the port is 443. If not, edit it using the purple key on the right.


15.Make sure that SSL is False.


16.Make sure that the block size is "empty". 


17.Make sure that the heap size is "4096".


18.Make sure that the terminal ID is correct and matches the one in Vericentre.


19.Edit the application name by pressing the purple button on the right.


20.Press the enter key over and over until you see the download, please wait screen.


Make sure to download the applications in this order: 


1.VVMAC263

2.XCSB1F543

3.EMAX602


Then you will do an EMA update to download the remaining applications.
