Faster Funding Requests for Chat Agents

Use the following steps to handle faster funding requests efficiently, including cases where the merchant is billed by a partner. Ensure all internal policies and exceptions are followed accurately.

  1. Initial Engagement with the Merchant

  1. Start by greeting the merchant, and verify that the contact information, email, and phone number are updated in the chat.

Please note: To apply for faster funding, a merchant is required to have a minimum of 90 days of processing

 


Process for Partner-Billed Merchants

If the merchant is billed by a partner (Forte bills the partner instead of the merchant directly), follow the steps below:

  1. Do Not Send Forte’s Faster Funding Form:
    • Avoid sending the merchant CSG Forte’s Faster Funding form since the partner may have its own pricing and procedures.
  2. If the Partner Contacts Forte for Faster Funding:
    • If the partner emails or calls to request faster funding on behalf of a merchant, provide the partner with the Reseller Faster Funding Request Form.
  3. If the Merchant Contacts Forte for Faster Funding:
    • Inform the merchant that their partner will assist them with their request.
    • The Customer Service agent should reach out to the partner and inform them of the merchant’s faster funding request.
    • Provide the partner with the Reseller Faster Funding Request Form.


Important Exceptions and Internal Notes

  1. Rentec Merchants:
    • If a Rentec merchant inquires about faster funding, refer them back to Rentec for further assistance.
    • Internal Note: Rentec merchants will not be using faster funding forms as they are required to maintain a 1/1 day hold on transactions.
  2. Wayne Akey’s Verticals:
    • This includes Sedona, Cash Flow Tech, Alarmbiller, Waterflex, etc., which may have unique arrangements or policies. Follow standard procedures for partner billing and faster funding requests, but ensure you adhere to any specific guidelines if applicable.
