We previously notified you that the Partner Portal will be retiring at the end of Q1. Due to some additional updates that we are making we have extended the retirement date out to Q4 2019, training and testing for the upcoming changes will begin in Q3. Over the course of this time, we will be creating new and adding features Dex and disabling certain features in the Partner Portal as they become available in Dex.
Not familiar with Dex? Don't worry - in the coming months, we will be sending invites to our Partners who have not had an opportunity to Meet Dex.
We are continually adding new features and functionality to our Dex platform to support the vast needs of all our partners including ISOs and ISVs. Our goal is to provide an all-inclusive platform that allows partners to manage and track merchant applications, access reporting and manage their merchant portfolios.
In the coming months, Partners that don’t currently have access to Dex will receive an invite with the necessary permissions to perform partner functions in Dex. The assigned permissions will be driven by the type of partner relationship - ISO or ISV.
Some of the features partners will be able to leverage include:
- Ability to track and manage applications
- Ability to subscribe to event notifications for disputes and applications
- Ability to create and manage rate plans
- Ability to create merchant (reminder TIN required for gateway apps)
- Ability to view and generate credentials
- Ability to manager merchant portfolio
- Ability to designate merchant user permissions and access to Dex
Who is Impacted?
All Partners will find benefit in using the partner resources available in Dex. Partners who are currently creating application links in the Partner Portal and those sending paper apps will be required to manage their applications in Dex as of June.
Timeline for changes?
We have updated our timeline for these changes to occur through Q4. We will provide partners advance notice of features that will be disabled in Partner Portal as they become available in Dex.
